ABOUT US
ALLIED CONSERVATIVE CONGRESS (ACC) EMERGES TO RESCUE NIGERIA.
Ahead of the 2027 general election, a new political movement, the Allied Conservative Congress (ACC) has emerged with a vision and mission to rescue Nigeria from its slide to anarchy, economic depression, political upheavals, and hopelessness. ACC is strongly determined to sail Nigerians to a greater and brighter destination and make the country great again with its conservative ideology as enshrined in Chapter 2, Fundamental Objectives and Directive Principles of State Policy, of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended. Section 14(1) and (2) of the Constitution provides that the Federal Republic of Nigeria shall be a state based on the principles of democracy and social justice, that sovereignty belongs to the people, the security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government and the participation by the people in their government is guaranteed.
The clear provisions of the 1999 Constitution are neglected and observed in the breach by past and present governments in Nigeria since the restoration of democracy in 1999. It is this hijacking of the government by a cabal and exclusion of the people in the affairs of government that led to the horrible situation of Nigeria today and the urgent need to rescue and salvage it immediately.
All patriotic Nigerians and lovers of democracy have seen the need for the formation of a new political movement that will pioneer and pilot the rescue mission of our beloved country before it is too late.
Eminent Nigerians with conservative bent have met severally across the country, brainstormed, strategized, and chart the way forward for the country. Existing political movements, political parties and politicians with progressive ideology have offered their services to the nation which instead of improving the well-being of citizens rather impoverished them resulting in the current national tragedy, disillusionment, and confusion in governance.
The Allied Conservative Congress is resolved to make a difference and stand out among the motley crowd of political groups and parties that are promoting democracy in Nigeria and seeking the people’s mandate to rule. It has since applied to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for registration as a political party and has structures across the 36 states of the federation and Abuja.
Leaders and members of ACC are men and women of honor, integrity, and probity with exceeding passion to make Nigeria forever great by restoring sanity, morality, honesty, uprightness, national cohesion, unity and patriotism. Nigerian people who belong to our political movement have an equal stake in the movement irrespective of ethnicity, religion and, gender.
ACC members are guided by its motto which is “Sailing Nigerians to a Greater Destination”. Its flag consists of three equal-sized vertical curved stripes, green, white and, purple and the movement’s logo inside is the white part of the flag. Green represents Agriculture, White represents Peace, Purple represents strength, while canoe represents sailing Nigerians to a greater destination. The logo of the political movement is a map of Nigeria edged colored purple with a canoe inside colored brown, the abbreviation of the movement’s name, ACC in purple, and its slogan Forever Great in purple under the map and the name of the movement, Allied Conservative Congress in green, purple and green, above the map. Its slogan is Forever Great.
As a conservative political movement, ACC will promote a national policy based on social values, social justice, rule of law, freedom, equality, human dignity, fiscal responsibility, peace and progress of all Nigerian people. It shall contribute to deepening democracy in the country and ushering in a new era of conservative ideology anchored on patriotism and integrity in the service to the fatherland which will accelerate the political and socio-economic development of the country, and where citizens will hold government accountable. Citizens’ failure to hold government accountable is the remote cause of Nigeria as a failed state today resulting to a reign of terror and total lack of fear of God amongst leaders and people. ACC will henceforth intervene in crucial national issues that will strengthen our democracy and return power to the people on who sovereignty resides. ACC extends its hand of friendship and invites all lovers of democracy and good governance to identify with this conservative political movement in our determination to build a new, better, and greater Nigeria.
It is a clarion call to rescue and salvage the nation, and restore genuine democracy with God-fearing leaders and hope for citizens of a better Nigeria.
